Indagon Launches RTK-Fokus Service: A Leap Forward in Precision Positioning
We are excited to announce the launch of our new RTK-Fokus service, an upgrade from our previous DGPS-assistance data-based Fokus service. This significant enhancement leverages our own RTK (Real Time Kinematics) base station network across Finland, providing unparalleled accuracy and reliability for positioning applications. Similar assistance networks-projects are available also for other markets.

The RTK-Fokus service utilizes our extensive network of RTK base stations to deliver centimeter-level accuracy in real-time. This is a substantial improvement over the two meter-level accuracy provided by traditional DGPS. With RTK assistance, users can achieve position accuracy of 0.01m + 1 ppm CEP, making it ideal for applications requiring high precision.
Comprehensive Device Support
Our RTK-Fokus service is designed to support a wide range of RTK-capable devices, including our own Indagon MTT150R, APU150EDR, and VCU devices. These devices are equipped with multi-constellation, multiband GNSS receivers, ensuring they can take full advantage of the RTK-Fokus service for rapid and accurate positioning. Additionally, the service is compatible with any other device capable of using RTK assistance data, providing flexibility and broad applicability.
